SPRING 2025

TUESDAYS

Ultimate Frisbee (2nd-6th): Non-stop fun in this totally awesome program! In this super active program, players will learn the basics of Ultimate Frisbee. Each day will end with full games, but will begin with lead-up games and skill building to help them hone their skills of throwing, catching, and running. Players will also learn that ultimate is a game where kids referee themselves! They will share strategies, learn how to make their own calls fairly, and work with teammates to make the most out of every play. This program is open to players of all different skill levels and is guaranteed to be a blast!

 

LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential Robotics: Amazing Amusement Park (K-3rd): This program invites children to design and code the amusement park thematic rides using LEGO® SPIKE™ kits . They'll tackle projects like building ferris wheels and carousels, blending fun with foundational STEAM education. Each project enhances computational thinking, sequence creation, and problem-solving skills, where every creation adds to an imaginary park wonderland.

 

Pottery: Spring Contemporary Art (1st-6th): Join us this Spring as we explore the exciting world of Contemporary Art! Learn about how these famous artists changed the world of art by coloring outside the lines. In this class you’ll create pinch pots, coil pots and slab hand built pottery from start to finish. You’ll even get a chance to glaze your own pottery. Our materials are professional grade stoneware and get fired in our kiln making the pieces both beautiful and functional! Ready to explore? Come on and let’s get muddy!



WEDNESDAYS

Cooking: Baroody’s No Bake Bonanza (1st-4th): In this session, children will get to learn in a no-bake no-stove cooking class designed for appetizers, dips, wraps, salads, finger foods, sandwiches, smoothies, desserts, and more! The young chefs will get their hands moving and taste buds singing as we dive into different culinary techniques, presentation, and easy to repeat at home recipes. Get those chef hats on, whisks ready, and appetites big for our new Mix & Munch No Bake Bonanza Class. 

 

Digital Art & Illustration (3rd-6th): Introduce your child to the exciting world of graphic design and digital art! Our young learners will explore the fundamentals of design, color theory, typography, and basic photo editing, while cultivating their creativity and artistic expression.

Watch as they unlock their creative potential, gain valuable digital art skills, and proudly showcase their projects! Give your child the opportunity to embark on a creative journey that will spark their imagination and foster a lifelong love for design.

 

Hip Hop Dance (K-6th): Kids in Motion hip hop class is a high energy, exciting dance fitness class, with an emphasis on hip hop music and dances. Classes are set up with kid friendly music, movements, and routines. They will learn choreography to about three songs per class. In addition to a dance workout, they will end the class with a super fun dance game, such as freeze dance, dancing 4 corners, follow the leader, and the like! Instructors are experienced dance fitness teachers and all instructors receive further training through Kids in Motion lead teachers.


THURSDAYS

Pickleball for Kids (1st-6th): Pickleball is a fun, fast-paced paddle sport that combines tennis, table tennis and badminton. Kids will learn the rules of the game, and will practice their skills through games. Once they have gotten used to the basics of ball striking and the rules of gameplay, they will work together as a team while competing in fun, lightly competitive tournament style matches. This is a great way to join in on the fastest-growing sport in America!

 

Chess (K-6th): Learn chess with Silver Knights Chess Academy (formerly Magnus Chess Academy), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Broadway Bound: Spring Edition (2nd-6th): In this class, young performers discover the world of musical theater!

Every session features new lessons and fresh scripts with a variety of scenes and songs from hit musicals, along with character creation and improv. Participants will enhance their singing, acting, and storytelling skills while exploring different characters and styles. Through collaboration and creativity, students will build confidence on stage and discover the magic of bringing stories to life.

Parents are invited to join us for a mini-performance during the final class.
