LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential Robotics: Quirky Creations (1st-3rd)

Get ready to let your creativity run wild with Lego SPIKE Robotics: Quirky Creations! In this course, children will have the opportunity to explore the exciting world of peculiar contraptions as they build and code their own creations. From engine-powered seesaws to trash-eating robots, children will be able to bring their wildest ideas to life through hands-on projects using everyday themes. As they work on their projects, children will continue to develop their computational thinking skills, including the ability to create and follow sequences, identify cause and effect, and understand simple loops. They'll also have the chance to practice testing and debugging programs to ensure that their creations are ready for the world.

Sports & PE Games (K-2nd)

In this program, we will play some of the best sports and PE games ever invented. We will choose from knockout, extreme kickball, handball, capture the flag, modified dodgeball, ultimate frisbee, floor hockey, soccer and more. We will also take suggestions from children to make sure the fun never ends! 

Each day, our goal is to motivate each player to compete with high effort and a positive attitude towards self and others. We hope you can join us!

Kids on Canvas (1st-6th)

Grab a paintbrush and jump right in for a colorful Kids on Canvas adventure! Use acrylic paint to explore painting subjects such as the figure, landscape and still life - with a fresh Abrakadoodle twist! We use our imaginations and inspiration from a different artist each week to create with paint in a variety of ways!

Cartooning Art (K-3rd)

Young Rembrandts™ Cartooning curriculum uses a structured stepwise format to teach students to create their own animated characters in humorous settings. We break down objects and ideas into simple shapes, then use exaggeration, caricature, and personification to playfully construct our own cartoon images. Our Cartooning curriculum develops academically relevant skills, including spatial-motor planning, mental discipline and fine motor skills, while providing a fun, enriching experience for our students. New lessons every week!

Spanish (1st-6th)

Your child will learn a foreign language, the culture, and traditions of the particular countries where that language is spoken. Instructors use every moment as an opportunity to motivate students to use and practice their speaking skills. Games, songs, and other age-appropriate activities are used by our native-speaking instructors to keep the class fun and interactive.

TGA Afterschool Pickleball Program (4th-6th)

GET READY TO DINK, DRIVE, AND VOLLEY WHILE HAVING FUN WITH TGA!

Led by trained and vetted coaches, TGA Pickleball uniquely combines athletics, academics, and life lessons to create a fun, active, and entertaining camp experience.

TGA programs include skill development, lessons on rules & etiquette, and activities that explore academic concepts through the lens of the sport.

All levels/abilities are welcome and equipment is provided.

Chess (K-6th)

Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Glow Light Dance Party (K-6th)

Kids in Motion Glow Light Dance Party is an exciting one-of-a kind class that takes the great music and dance moves from our Zumba, Hip Hop, and other dance fitness classes, but we switch it up to include glow lights! This class will be set in a creative dance environment where the students will spend the class learning different choreographies to kid friendly songs. Children are provided with mini finger flashlights to create a glow dance party! In addition to a dance work out, they will also play games such as freeze dance, dancing 4 corners, limbo, center star, follow the leader, balloon games, limbo, and many more.
